With the blessings and guidance of Pujya Acharya Shree Chandanaji, the leader and founder of Veerayatan, Misty began her spiritual journey through her passion for music. After having the darshan of Sadhviji Shree Shubhamji, she was inspired to take her music on a spiritual path. Since a very young age, Misty has had a strong bond with Veerayatan, and wishes to share this especially with the young and old of the Western world.
       Misty is a multitalented girl who resides in Upstate New York. She has cherished music ever since her early childhood and began singing at the age of three. Since giving her first stage performance at the age of four, she has given several solo performances in the US as well as internationally. She enjoys singing in Gujarati, Hindi, Bengali, English and Italian. Currently, Misty is receiving her training in Indian Classical Music from her Guruji, Shree Deepak Mishra in Surat, India, who is of the renowned Kirana Gharana. She is also progressing with her tabla, piano, cello and vocal studies. Misty released her first album of "Jain Devotional Songs" at the age of ten. Her second album, "Arhanto," was released at the 2005 Jaina Convention by Pujya Acharya Shree Chandanaji. Her third and fourth albums, "Bhaktamar Stotra" and "Kalyanmandir Stotra" were released at the 2007 Jaina Convention, also by her Pujya Guruji, Acharya Shree Chandanaji, and her fifth album, "Bhakti Dhara," was released in July 2009.
       Misty is a devoted Jain and vegan.  She is very inspired by the humanitarian efforts of Veerayatan.  With the blessings of Acharya Shree Chandanaji, she has decided to donate the proceeds of her albums, Bhakti Bhavana programs, and paintings for this great cause.
